
Laken Williams, PhD
Laken Williams, PhD, is Director of Product Development at Carpe, where she leads innovation, regulatory, and quality initiatives across the brand’s growing portfolio of sweat-care solutions. A polymer chemist by training, Laken combines scientific rigor with consumer insight to develop high-performance antiperspirant and deodorant formulations that blend clinical efficacy, skincare benefits, and premium fragrance experiences. Before joining Carpe, she held senior formulation and product development roles at Burt’s Bees and The Clorox Company, where she launched multiple market-leading personal care and hygiene products.
Laken earned her PhD in Chemistry from Vanderbilt University and has authored several peer-reviewed publications in polymer science and drug delivery systems.
